Mountain Lion Poop

A lot of people may not be crazy about poop, but having lived in the remote areas and because I’m curious, I like discovering evidence of animals, which includes their skat. As you can see by comparing these two images of scat, they are similar. This South Dakota sky doesn’t pull any punches. Even now—in early September—you can feel what’s coming: something big, something white, something cold, something way-below-zero cold—like 46 degrees below zero cold.
